In a move that combines environmental sustainability with charitable support, CDS Electrical has donated its old solar panels to the Romanian Aid Foundation, a charity dedicated to providing humanitarian aid to needy people in the north-east of Romania.

The donation saw Steve and Graham from the Romanian Aid Foundation with Corin Dudley, Managing Director of CDS Electrical, and Chas Bateman, the Estimating Manager, a partnership aimed at making a difference through sustainable practices. The solar panels, previously installed on the roof of CDS Electrical's headquarters in Polegate, will now find a new purpose in supporting the charity's operations at Casa Neemia.

Corin Dudley, Managing Director of CDS Electrical, said, "We love the idea of both helping a charity while also recycling a product we would no longer be using. We’re sure the charity will benefit as much as we have from them." This gesture underlines CDS Electrical's commitment to environmental issues as well as supporting communities beyond its immediate service area.

The donated solar panels are expected to significantly aid the Romanian Aid Foundation by providing a sustainable and cost-effective energy solution, allowing the charity to allocate more resources towards its humanitarian efforts.
