Case Study: Illuminating innovation at Bill’s Restaurant

CDS Electrical recently wrapped up work on a refurbishment of Bill’s Restaurant in Newbury, Berkshire. And we’re rather pleased with it.

Bill’s Restaurant, a well-known name in the culinary world that started in nearby Lewes, has just opened a new location in Newbury, Berkshire. The new location reflects its warm, inviting atmosphere, and is designed to be as sustainable and efficient as possible.

CDS Electrical was tasked with the comprehensive electrical engineering work required to bring this vision to life. The project was spearheaded by three of CDS Electrical’s finest engineers: Nick, Ollie and Elaine.

The project presented unique challenges, from intricate lighting schemes designed with the designers to ensuring all electrical installations were in accordance with sustainability practices. Their work included installing energy-efficient lighting that not only sets the perfect mood for diners but also significantly reduces the restaurant's carbon footprint.

It was such a success, that we’ve now been commissioned to work on another Bill’s Restaurant in St Albans.

Derek Bulled, Director at Corin Dudley Electrical Services, expressed his satisfaction with the project, stating, "Nick, Ollie, and Elaine have surpassed our expectations, delivering a project that beautifully balances aesthetic appeal with environmental responsibility. Their dedication and skill have contributed to the creation of a space that we believe will be loved by all who visit."
