Solar panels for Southdown Housing Association

CDS Electrical worked with Southdown which offers specialist housing, care and support for people in Sussex.

We installed a 7.9kw solar installation (20 panels) on a block of flats. We fitted a Solshare system which only a handful of companies are able to install in the UK presently. The system allows all of the flats to share the solar energy from the solar PV array.

We estimate the system will generate 8790kWh of power a year which is equivalent to saving 1.7 tons of Co2 emissions or planting 78 trees.
