Solar support for community garden

Landport Community Garden is nestled away in a corner of Landport Farm in Lewes. It is a beautiful spot with lots of fruit trees and vegetables grown on site, some in a poly tunnel. There’s also a potting shed and gazebo area.

The residents and volunteers wanted some lights in the potting shed and electricity for boiling a kettle. After carrying out a site survey with Lewes District Council, CDS Electrical agreed to install solar panels to the roof of the Potting Shed and install a battery so the Community Garden Volunteers can have a cup of tea at last. Milk, no sugar for us please!
