Electric Vehicle Charging
.
As we look look to the future, there is one common factor that keeps popping up. That goal of reducing exhaust emissions and protecting the environment the best way we possibly can.
The introduction of electric cars has been a significant milestone for what car manufacturers need to work towards in the future. With more electric cars on our roads today than ever before we need to make sure there is enough charging bays available.
Here at CDS Electrical we install and maintain vehicle charging systems for commercial, domestic and educational premises.

As an additional incentive for UK drivers to reduce emissions, the government grant for Homecharge units has been provided by the Office for Low Emission Vehicles (OLEV). The OLEV Grant, also known as Electric Vehicle Homecharge Scheme (EVHS), provides £500 off the cost of purchasing & installing a home charging point and can be claimed on the majority of plug-in vehicles on today’s market. You can claim one charging point per eligible vehicle and up to two charging points per household.
Take a look at our OLEV EVHS page for more information on the government grant.
