Solar energy for barn & home

Greenway Fruit Farm in Herstmonceux has had an 18kw solar panel system since 2013. But after a replacement inverter was needed, CDS Electrical discovered that the solar panels could power the house as well as the barn.

The solar panel system at Greenway Fruit Farm had always worked well until last year when the customer noticed one of the inverters had stopped working. They asked CDS Electrical to provide a replacement inverter.

As part of the installation, we carried out a survey and concluded we could provide electricity for the barn as per the existing design, but with a few changes, we could also provide the house with solar energy reducing their electricity bill.

The installation is now complete and the client is happy with the outcome.
